Default Cooper Zeon LTZ update

So last time I posted about these, i had trouble saying how bad they were on ice.

driving in rain though, well I don't think these tires know that the ground is wet. They just stick.

Not once have i had a wheel spin, or had ABS kick in, and i've intentionally stopped at yellows I should have gone through just to check the tires out.

I feel like I have AT LEAST 90% of the traction that I have when it's dry.

Not exactly what I expected from these tires, but glad I purchased them.

Been about two months, plus a road trip, so 4-5k.

I think they are an outstanding rain tire! The snow and ice is marginal but they are plenty safe for snow driving. I wouldn't call them the best snow because I have had better, but I feel comfortable enough to say I would buy them again because of their strong points like looks and price! They are still better than most others when it comes to bad weather, but there is room for improvement.

Yeah I agree. Ive had mine about 2 months now as well, and they do perform outstanding in the rain. When I took them up North to go skiing, I was driving on snow-packed parking-lots in 2wd and I had a little slippage once the tread was full of snow/ice, granted this was on a bit of a slope. But, all-in-all, they blow the stockers out of the water so I am happy!

I keep hearing alot of good things about these tires and it almost makes me want to give them a try next time around... But at the same time I also really want to try the Nitto NT420's in a 285/50/R20 too... Well I'll probably be asking you guys with the coopers how the tread is wearing and how well the grip is in another year or so once the tires I have on now are worn down a bit more.

I said when they came out and I saw the tread, they'd be the perfect tire for someone who doesn't off road, or basically does it lightly. You can tell by looking at all the siping they were gonna be a real solid wet pavement performer. Only test yet to see is how well they hold up over time...

My zeons are bad *** in the sand, on the highway, on the trails and on wet surface. They are alot better than the a/t's I had before. But, they are having a un usual wear on them. Does anybody know about this?
