I have a problem here with my '03 2500
my hood latch cable broke and my battery is dead
i've tried stripping the the layer of plastic off the cable and pulling it with pliers but that didn't work for me.
does anyone else have any suggestions to get the hood open so i can boost the battery?

 

should be a cable inside a cable type deal look close at it . you need to apply force of the pull bolth ways hope that helps
