I got this code twice p0441 . I read in another post that it could be some purge selenoid or something like that. But i cant seem to fin what i was reading. I think it said it was on the driver side on the same side of the battery. Anyone know where this is at

 

yeah it's for a EVAP Purge System Performace....the purge solenoid is on the driver side by the battery....got 2 lines going into the bottom of it and an electrical connector

 

do you know if thats just a simple swap, never had to cahnge that .bfore

 

i had the same code p0441 and changed my purge solenoid but the code came back on so it must be something else. it is easy to change. On my truck (03 ram 2500 hemi) if youre standing at the front its just below and to the left of the fuse box. the purge solenoid has to hoses coming out that go to the left then back. from my haynes repair manual the steps for replacement are as follows:

1) disconnet the cable from the negative battery terminal.
2) disconnect the electrical connection from the solenoid
3) make sure to label the hoses and disconnect them
4) remove solenoid from mounting bracket

easy as that!
