I wouldn't get a PS flush if you got it done not that long ago..but to me i would have to guess and say something may not be clicking right with the PS pump did you have anyone check that out to make sure it was working properly?

How do you check it? So far the places I have asked have not suggested a way to check that the pump is working properly beyond steering anomalies.
Thanks

I honestly am not sure I was hoping someone would chime in on this lol...have you gone to a local dodge dealership, they should be able to figure out if the pump is distrubuting enough fluid through the tubes so you won't experience that turning difficulty or that whine on start up

hey whats up. it could still be the pump going out. even though the wine quits you havent transfered any of the fluid. so it might be slower getting to where it needs to be. i have a 2003 hemi ram and its doin the same thing i have a leaking hose and they said that it could damage the pump. so that would be my best bet. good luck with bud. have a good one

Default Update

Well, it turns out my rack and pinion is failing / leaking / allowing air into the system at colder temperatures. Didn't see the leak because it was leaking into one of the boots.

It seems a bit odd to me that this should fail with only 56,000 miles on it.
