Ramhammer costs big $$$. But they are probably the best for performance. Nice work on the intake Draco.

Ramhammer is way over priced but to each his own...any gain it has over the competition is minimal and can never be proved (or disproved unfortunately) on a dyno due to the natural variance in pulls. That's how little, if any, advantage it has over a home made or name brand CAI.

I built my CAI last weekend. I used 3" PVC and put the filter right behind the headlight. In the perfect place for the jet stream scoop I got. I also got the power wire from Airram.com. I love it. My truck definitely has more "get up and go" now, and the exhaust sound a lot better. I give RSSJIB mad props for giving me the idea to build my own.

How would you make a CAI for a 2008 hemi, it looks different from the 2005 hemi. Would you just run the tube to the box that is attached to the throttle body and do you need to hook up the 1/2" vac line that runs from the air filter box?

I have a couple of questions.
What year is you truck?
What did you use in install the sensor. You say you drilled a hole but what did you use to hold the sensor in place?
Did you have the hose that goes from you oil fill to the air box? Did you just get rid of it?

Thanks and very nicely done.

I used a grommet that I picked up at Autozone or somewhere for a Toyota PVC. The IAT fit in there......here are some pics.
