Yes our lights can be adjusted. There is a hex head on the side of the headlights that you adjust them with.

I believe most newer HID's (factory) have motorized housings of some kind also. My Mini parks on a slight incline, when you first turn on the lights they dip down a couple inches until its backed out and level, whereupon they raise back up. Any heavy load in the back (which is 2 bags of groceries) also causes the lights to re-trim.

I wish there was a true HID swap for the 02-05 Dodge. That would be ****.

I brought my lights down 5 turns and no one flashes me, I also plan on a set of eyelids to create a cut off for oncoming traffic. If you want to leave yours up, that is your choice but someone could complain to the feds and all of us might have to pay. If we all bring our HIDs down we attract less attention.

Yep thats "Auto Level" I believe the +/-2006 audi, bmw, and benz have them right off the top of my head

And the Eyelid would help some because it would kinda work as a cutoff plate

yea, we can adjust our lights. I lowered mine about 10 degrees, and I have not been flashed once, ever. Now Ive got Tim's HIDs but I dont think I have two bulbs??
The lights in the 06-08 are perfectly round and really dont scatter light too bad as long as your housing is CLEAN, now if there is road grime on them it glows, i guess light reflecting off the inside of the housing.
They are right about being illegal, and it says "OFF ROAD USE ONLY" on each box. But adjust the lights a little bit and youre fine.

Do you know that the new Chevys/GMC trucks have to have body work to adjust the angle of the light? I ordered my buddy a kit from Tim and knowing how bright chevy lights are anyway, tried to adjust them. No way to do it and his lights are bright as HELL

I think my truck had HIDs in it before I got it, because my lights were turned way the f**k down, I could hardly see ahead of me at night, I had to adjust them up.

yea I don't care much about the illegality of it (well, as long as i'm not getting pulled over). I'm more worried about the being obnoxious and unsafe.

The bad ones are the really low and really high temperature are the bad ones. 4300K are insanely bright, and about the lowest temp you use in a vehicle. Anything lower is a yellow color and too bright. 30000K is pink, while they look cool, those ones are too much of a color. 6000-8000K should be optimum temperature for driving. A tint to them, so people don't think that you have just bright bright lights or brights on. When I notice a bright light, I look for a tint, and if there is a color, I do realize that they are HIDs, and there is only so much that they can do about brightness.
However, people should show some courtesy by turning down their lights.
