Default Crazy Lighting Issue, Suggestions?

2006 Ram 2500 4WD. No low beam headlamps. High beams work fine. Tested power (low beam side) at the socket 13 v (when running). I test the plug both ground and power. Insert the plug into bulb and no lights. Replaced both bulbs still no lights. Re checked light sockets and I have power. Thought it may be bad ground but the high beams work fine. (this is a single bulb unit).

Any suggestons or help

thank You

Cool Crazy lights

Thanks for the input. some good tips and links.
I am thinking the computer. I started to have this problem when i had a new fisher plow installed. It started on the passenger side lights and I would have to shut the truck off and restart to re gain the light. (only the low beam). Other times if I switched between lows and highs with the plow on i would loose my low beams and once again have to restrart. i am going to check for codes and see what happens. i will let you know.

Smile Finaly closure

Yep that was it. Here is one for everryone to know.
The guy who installed the plow for me connected the main power to fuse box instead of the battery. This caused the voltge to drop on the computer to a abnormal level causing many codes to log into the computer.
cleared the codes relocated the power cable and Bam we are in business.

Thank you guys for the input it really helped. Hope to return the favor someday.
