I hate this surging/jerking light throttle!
Stock tunes are backed up to the SC's computers when you plug it in, So its still there. As far as the jerkyness, I havent had any problems, My truck works great with all the SC tunes. I suggest you contact SC directly or goto flashpaq.com and post the issue on there forum, They would probably be better suited to assist.
You don't need to go back to stock just to update your tune on the truck. You need to get on http://flashpaq.com and have them walk you through using the product correctly. They may not get to you right away, but when they do, they have very good support...

x2. There is no need to go back to stock prior to updating your tuner. I have done it numerous times without issue.
Ok, thanks for the help.
Tonight I put the truck back to stock. And I have no more jerking or anything weird. But man what a difference it makes. On the stock map with the same driving style I get shifts much quicker. Like I go 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear just cruising from a stop sign. Before with the superchips tune it would hold the gears longer and maybe shift 1st to 2nd on light throttle.
So now what? Why would the superchips tunes cause this?
And my TB and IAT valve I will have to check. When I changed my plugs at 65k I noticed the TB was a little dirty and I cleaned it. BUT I did not remove it to clean the inside half of it.
What is the IAT valve? I know there is an Intake Air Temp sensor, but a valve?

I guarentee the inside is worse than the outside was.
I doubt it's the TB being dirty since I only got it with the superchips tune. But yeah cleaning the TB won't hurt.
I alrady update the tuner. I guess I will have to try asking on the superchips forum like hammer suggested.

i had the same problem.. put your parking break on .. put your truck in drive...and check the tranny fluid see if its in the ok zone if not add fluid it sounds like a pressure issue when your driving the pressure stays up when you stop the pressure shuldent drop by much unless the fluid is low which in this case only trying this may fix the problem atf-4 fluid only.. alright well i hope this helps you because i was having the same problem and it fixed my issue ...
