2005 Ram 1500 2" Torsion Bar Crank Shocks
Last year I leveled the Ram with a 2" torsion bar crank. It looks great but rides a little harsh. Recommend some replacement shocks that will be better than the factory stuff. I do take it off-road when hunting, but I don't go off-road aggressively, so I don't need some high $$$ shocks for such purposes. Just something to smooth the bone-jarring ride over potholes, speed bumps and the occasional off-road-to-get-my-deer trips.
Bilstein 5100s, and they go on sale nationwide starting tomorrow, buy 3 get one free...
They are way better than the stock shocks, are my favorite shock along with the Rancho 9000 series. The extra length will stop you from bottoming out, but nothing will soften the ride much after a T-Bar crank. Torquing those bars just really stiffens that front end a lot...
