K, would anyone have a clue Why my cruse control kicks off before 70 MPH's... I was wondering if it may be because of the different rims but I was told it was changed in the computer... It's done it since day one I owned the truck. If ya have any clue please feel free to leave your imput.. Thanx

 

After I got the bigger tires I had my speedo reset at the Stealership and they didn't have the exact tire size in their programmer, they put something in on a 20" rim,which my rims are 17"'s, and my cruise would kick out at 65. I went back and had them put the closest thing they had on a 17" and that fixed the problem. Don't know if this as anything to do with your problem but I hope it helps.

 

hmmm, my stockers were 17's.... Ill c if I can get my buddie to bring the comp home and check it.... I figured that might be the issue.
