freakin scamers .....get a job already man that burns me

 

When I listed my last truck for sale I had a guy offer me like 10k more than I was asking but he needed it shipped to Timbuktoo or someplace like that. Obviously a scam.

 

i hate scammers. on craigslist there so many strange people there. i was looking at buying some used subs and i asked the guy if he had any receipts for it and he told me to f**k off. a simple no would be good enough. i guess either he must have stolen it or he thought i was a cop wasting his time and trying to see if he stole it.

 

craigslist can be so good but you gotta watch your *** with every sale

 

I had the same scam as (off road teacher) I have my 2004 sebring on craigslist right now, and this guy named Dave Williams e-mailed me and was going to send me $10,000 in a cashiers check,I'm only asking $4,700. And I've heard some cashiers checks will even clear your bank but later on be denied!!! What the @#$%, I guess you have to have cash in hand. He said I'm to send the balance back to him and his associate would come to pick up the car. Well I e-mailed him back asking what the name of his company was, and where they were from and I never heard from him again. Fricken scamers, craigslist is FULL of them.

 

i applied for a job on craigslist ( i got laid off from 2, yes 2, jobs in February), and the guy had the same kinda scam reply. He was from europe and needed me to drive his family around for a year and all he needed was my info, address, phone #, SS # to properly direct payment, etc.....he would pay me waaay in advance he said...no thanks.

 

True. I got a great deal but it took a while.

 

That truck is listed as having an 8ft bed (long bed) that look like the short bed (6.5ft) to anyone else?
