Default Put in a rack, now I need tires??!

Yep, I put my rack and pinion in last night, and got the front end aligned. The alignment shop said it was all straight, but it still pulls a little to the left... a little was an understatement. It pulled hard to the left, and when turning left, the steering wheel would wobbbbbble. I rotated the tires in an X pattern, and it did the same thing now to the RIGHT! So I switched the front tires around, and it started to pull to the LEFT! I did every tire combination possible, and have come to the conclusion that I only have one good tire...
Shat,,, the only way I can see to fix this is new tires, and I hadnt planned on buying tires for the 20" wheels... I was going to get some black/aluminum wheels with some Nitto grapplers, but I dont know what to do now? $800+ for 20" tires, or $1300 for 4 new motometals with nittograpplers mounted and balanced???

looks like the 1300 for wheels and tires would be a much bettr option if you want to drop the dough on em. i just did cooper zeons from direct tire discount and after the tires, balance and mount and alignment it all came to about $1050. but be aware your alignment might still be way off, thats the biggest thing that makes a steering wheel shake violently, its known that alot of guys dont truly know how to use a alingment machine, chekc it out before you get new meats.

yeah i'd take it another shop and have em check the alignment....but if you do end up needing tires, i'd drop the 1300 on new wheels & tires then sell the stock 20"

I had the dealership screw up my alignment right after they had their alignment machine put in. Than they told me that my truck (just a 1500) was too big for it. Went to a local tire shop and they did it cheaper and did a way better job. Find a good shop and stick with them.

I have always gone to this shop, and they have always done a pretty good job.
The reason I dont think it is an alignment issue is because when I rotate tires, it pulls in a different direction.
For example, it pulled left, so I switched the front tires around and then it pulled right.
On one of the tires I can see a hump on the inside all the way around the tire, I'm thinking it is a belt, that would definately make it pull...

DAM... I really didnt want to buy tires yet,,, anyone out there have a set for cheap??

If you do just new tires your out 800 buck. Do new wheels and tires your out 1300 bucks, However the 20's you can easily get 600 bucks for off craigslist, ebay or even here. making you out only 700 bucks after all is done.

I am assuming from the price, Your looking at 17" Motos with about a 295/70/17 wheel?
