Default finally!

well after searching and waiting forever i was able to scoop up a set of OEM 20's, they are the 2007 5 spoke chrome ones, not the flowers. I finally got them locally for a really good price. everyone knows what they look like so I wont post pics yet, but i will when they are on the truck. The tires have about 10k left in them then im going to 305's.....

yea...i found a good deal on my stock 20's too. found someone selling them on ebay as "pick up only" it was an hour away. it was apparently someone else posting for his friend, and provided his cell number. called him. offered opening bid price, picked them up the following week.

just a word of advice, the 305s drive terrible. Your truck will follow every rut in the road and drives like a golf cart, 275s drive much nicer. The 305s look sweet, but I didnt like em when I had em

yeah, i have been thinking about just sticking with the stock size now actually... i really like how 305's look but i have read that in a few other places now doing research.... im really looking at getting the cooper ltz's in the stock size since it seems like EVERYONE loves them plus the only other tire im looking at is a nitto terra grappler but those cost quite a bit more.

i got the cooper discoverer a/ts, and i wouldn't recommend em. Got em in 275/55/20. They are about 32 inches tall, and are good looking width wise, and drive good. They get great offroad traction, but are really lacking on the ice. The main reason i don't like em is ive only had em 20k miles and theyr already down to the wear out bars.

do i have the 305's? i don't even know. they're stock toyo a/t's, so i assume they are...and my truck rides rough.

i will need tires in next year prolly (actually need them now...but whatever). should i get 275's you think? i wanna get taller tires in back. so like, 275 or 305 / 55 / 20 in the front....and like 275 or 305 / 75 / 20 or some crap. i dunno. i want taller wheels in the back to fill the wheel well.

the 305 are just wider. i have them and they stick out a little on the sides.
lol, the 305/75-20 is a 38" tire. umm yeah, good luck getting that to fit lol
the 305/55/20 would be a good size since its a 33" tire. no problems fitting that there.
did you look on the sidewall of your tires? they should tell you what it is. if its stock tires on the stock rims, most like they are 275

i need new ones sometime soon, and when i do, i ask for "new tires" not 305/35/2390's or whatever.

The first number represents width in millimeters, second is sidewall aspect ratio, and the last is the tire and wheel diameter. Look here for more of an explanation if you want http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete....jsp?techid=46
