Default ABS and Brake lights on

Over the last few days these two lights have been coming on. The funny part is that the lights will go out SOMETIMES when I turn the truck off but eventually come back on. I had a local mechanic friend of mine plug it in to a reader. It showed that the reservoir fluid level was low. Looked under the hood to find the level was perfect. We played around with the float and the light went out...only to come back again later. I am baffled??? Thinking off taking off reservoir and trying to clean up the float sensor tomorrow. To replace the sensor Dodge claims you have to buy the whole master cylinder assembly as they don't sell the reservoir or sensor seperately. Any other thoughts on what else might be causing this? Any help would be appretiated.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Can you get an aftermarket reservoir with the sensor in it?
