(From memory)
My '08 2500 QC 4x4 with Hemi, A/T, 3.92 axles and 17" wheels is rated for 8,800lbs towing, 15,000 GCWR, and something like 2,300lbs payload.

BTW... Capacities/specifications changes between years. Make sure you pick up the towing/payload chart for the year you are looking at. It breaks down each of 1500/2500/3500, regular/quad/megacab, automatic/manual trans, etc.

This'll give you everything you need to know. But basically max tow ratings 8850lbs for a 2500 quad cab automatic 4x4 with the 5.7 and 3.73 rear end and 10,850lbs with 4.10s.

I'd LOVE to move up to a 2500, just not in the cards right now. Im jealous! Have fun lookin'!
