I bought a cheap($35) intake off of ebay for my HEMI and used only the upper section of it. I connected the conical filter to the end of it, then bought some of that flexible metal tubing used as a/c ducting which slipped right over the rubber top end of the filter. I used a clamp to hold it in place. Then I ran it down the side of the fender through a hole which is right next to the radiator, were it fit perfectly through. I used a 90 degree a/c duct piece of the same diameter and mounted it behind and below the front bumper to where just the bottom edge of it hangs down below the front spoiler and it gives me a ram-air effect that I can definitely notice a performance gain. The only dissadvantage is that I have to disconnect it when it rains really hard so I dont end up scooping water right into the air filter, that would not be good.

If I get around to it, I will take a couple of pics in the next day or so to show you guys what I did. The flex tube is $10 at Lowes and the 90 degree piece was like $5. That with the intake totalled $50 or so, you can't get a less expensive than that.

I took a couple pictures of the intake that I have on my truck as I mentioned in my previous post, hey its the easiest way to get the same effect as ram air without having to buy a hood or pay big bucks!
