Default help with 2007 rear bumer and bumer pad

I am taking off the old bumper and replacing it with a new one. I am trying to use the old bumper pad..........

anyway I am trying to disasemble the old bumper and have taken out the license plate light and am now trying to take out the tow hitch plug. I am trying to figure out if it is glued into the housing. Their is a small red tab at the top of the female end that goes in and out. I slid it all the way out but it still wont budge as I try to break it free. Any thoughts - any feedback - what is the red tab? is it glued also?

Default figured it out

the red tab needs to be all the way out for you to pull it apart.

Got the bumper off and the bumer pad. Took a few bumper pad studs with me but will still go in new bumper just fine...

Got brand new OEM bumper for 2007 for 275.00 including tax

I have a slightly dented bumper for sale - make offer.
