Does anyone have any say on the Edge Evolution programmer, rather than superchips, diablo, sct, etc. ?? Any help would be appreciated.

My say is I wish they made it for something besides just the 07. I would like to have that nice little gauge pod on my dash.

I keep thinking of holding out for them to start going back and covering all the 3rd Gen Rams I have e-mailed them and they replyed that they are going to do it just have to wait they told me they hope to have it by Mid-summer. I also want the nice dash pod and the fact that it stays hooked up and monitors just about everything I think from trans temp to engine temp and will do 0-60 and quarter mile times for you.

How are the tunes on the Edge? They give you a nice bump in power?

I had the Superchips first, then the Edge.....

I got rid of the Superchips as soon as the Edge came out because I was hoping the MDS "Bump" would go away with the Edge. The bump is still there with the Edge, but not as bad.

Both of these tuners adjust the torque converter which firms up your shifting, however it also firms up the MDS shifting. So everytime you switch for 8 to 4 cylinders you have a bump, same thing going back to 8 cylinders. It's enough to drive you crazy on long drives, however the Edge took the edge off, and it was something I got used to...

I liked the programs the Edge offered, and the dash pod is nice. Some of the sensors it gives you are worthless, but there are a couple of good ones on it... Overall it's a good programmer and I would recommend it over the Superchips...

I really like my edge, the pod makes it look like it came with the truck. It definately adds some power, you can notice it even on level 1. The truck is a lot more responsive and shifts alot smoother. The biggest hassle for me was installling the pod as I am not very good at those kind of things, but it looks great!
