Default new tires for my 17" wheels

i bought a work truck and shortly after bought a set of 2004 17" wheels from craigslist and put the same tires on them. they are 245/70/17's and i am looking for some tires that will fill up the wheel well better. will 285/70/17's work without hitting the inner wheel wells when i turn all the way? any comments would be great! thanks! caleb

I put 285/70's on my 05 and haven't had any issues with rubbing.

you should get some 305 tires. the extra width really makes a big difference
