put my leveling lift on today, need bigger tires now *pics*
I really want to keep the stock wheels I have on it. I might look into some wheel spacers I guess, not sure if they would be ok on it. I've heard bad things about wheel spacers.
If your taking it to the mud drags I'd go with the Nitto Mud Graplers. My 0.02
Those are pretty expensive, I might have to save up a bit.
heres mine with 17 cepeks 4.53 backspacing, and 35/12.50 cepek crushers, truck leveled only.

shows how they stick out. and this was before my steps were installed.

35's look too big for just a leveling kit. They look much better on a 3" lift.
How long to add in the spacer for the leveling kit? 3-4hours not including the alignment? I would want to change the shocks to longer travel while I'm in there.

It took a little over an hour for putting the spacers on, I didn't see a reason to change the shocks since it's only a spacer on top of the strut assembly.
If your truck is an 04 it has a entirely different suspension setup than an 08. Cranking torsion bars will raise the truck and cause the shocks to expand a bit more, putting a spacer on top of the strut assembly is doing nothing to the spring or shock. It rides exactly the same as before.
Dazed, how much room do you have between the suspension and the inside of the tire? Did the leveling kit give you any more clearance? Right now, there is probably on about ½” between the suspension and tire on my truck. I was looking at putting in a leveling kit and getting 35x12.5 tires. I know you can do that on a 02-05 with the right backspacing, but I’m not sure about the 06-08’s.
