Default Aftermarket SRT Hood concerns

Has anyone put on a aftermarket SRT hood on their Dodge Ram? Without painting? I am about to move and need to get my hood on before I move. Is it ok to leave on my truck without painting for a while? My concerns are it may warp in the Hot Florida Sun????
Anyone know? I wanted to try and get my new bumper and hood painted the same time. Plans may have to change?
Thanks ahead for any info.

It really shouldnt make a difference.. your gonna paint it anyways so if there were anything that would happen it would be a little fadeing, as long as you paint it soon you can have it on your truck till then..

It is made out of fiberglass. What max length of time until I paint? Saving cash on the side. Hoping wife doesn't find my stash of cash.

haha i think you would have to worry more about the wife finding the money then your time of painting.. my buddy had his whole body kit and hood unpainted and on his vehicle for the whole summer then painted it in the end.. had no problems.. unless someone else has another story you should be good to go..

Thanks JJn5526. I'm tryin to figure out how I will tell her I got the hood and bumper painted? (White Lye) Just might take me all summer. Maybe play dumb and say I waxed it? But she's no dummy. Back up plan is as always "Better to ask for forgiveness than permission"

"minus the scream argue nag argue fight nag argue scream part."

Yea at least you have the part in your possession with this argument cuz if you ask permission you get this arguement about money situations.. and no part.. so there ya go DF guys NEVER ASK PERMISSION!!
