Secondary Transmission filter
I am going to install a secondary / remote transmission filter prior to my tranny cooler on a '06 1500 slt quad cab. I was looking for a place to mount it tonight. The fluid lines are metal tubing up to the radiator. They then go to rubber around the corner and then back to metal into the cooler. I have a couple of questions on the tubing.
What diameter is the metal tubing. I am thinking about cutting the metal to rubber quick connects and push rubber tubing over the end of the metal tubing and use hose clamps. The inlet and outlet to the filter casting is are hose barbs.
Can I get those quick connections somewhere and have a section of hose made?
I don't want to proceed until I know I can install it properly.
Thanks

but your still going to have to change the other 2 because they will gum up also. I'm not really following the point of an extra filter
Hope you don't have a warranty because that will void it. Also, there's no need for additional filters in the lines.
I think your gonna create more of a hassle and wasted time by installing another filter.
