I really hate mustangs...
they don't call them suckstangs without a reason. i honestly don't hate mustangs I hate the owners. Mustang isn't a bad car but it is not even close to fast. if you think it is you are a deusche.
if it was a early 90's fox body lookin one it woudln't be too far fetched for it to be a four banger.

I have a 97 Mustang. Bone stock it was a gutless 210hp wonder that wouldn't get out of it's own way. Barely chirped in 2nd. I tore the whole driveline out and installed a Cobra driveline which i ended up supercharging. My first time at the dyno I ran 473rwhp with 8psi. I am running 12psi and now have to be right about 550rwhp. Now that's one fast Stang! Especially since the 8lb pulley kept me in front of a 2007 Z06.
Not all stangs are slow, just the stock one's....lmao All except the 03/04 Cobra's.
But The Fox body early 90's and 80's are ugly ****'s. They are just glorified Ford Escorts, some with v8's. Some with a Turbo escort 4banger.
don't get me wrong...i like mustangs, but i've seen too many wanna be's.......tisk,tisk....
i dont hate mustangs, i hate the drivers....
All of us mustang guys aren't dicks. And I beg to differ on stock ones being quick heres a video of my girlfriends daily driver and my weekend play toy. It was bone stock with the exception of flowmasters. Its also an auto.

With mustangs you have to pick your battles, some get left in the dust and others will eat you alive if you are not paying attention to what they do/dont have on the car.... Good kill though
Very very close.
I beleive this guy had the V6 variety by how badly I killed him. As far as brake checking, I just have a standard bumper, I don't want to screw up my bumper and Im afraid something like a stang might actually do damage to my exhaust or worse get to my rear end if they are going to fast.
I need to get me some Hay Bail spikes and a remote control, Watchem tailgate me then, <Evil Laugh>

Nice... I was chatting with Hammer yesterday afternoon about a similar that I had... a stupid person driving a Ram 3500 dually challenge me yesterday, he had me til about 55 or 60... then I left him in the dust in my cobalt, I didn't count on that... that one baffled me...
Stangs are a joke, my friend just got rid of his 01 cause he finally ran it into the ground, said that he got a truck - I saw it New Years day when I was in town seeing everyone... I pulled up to his house and started laughing... it was a 2000 F150 Stock and he paid... are you ready.... 12k for it...
I was laughing in his face and couldnt stop....

Thats not nice beating up on big trucks in your little cobalt. I will admit though, I drove an 08 cobalt the other day, and they feel zippy as hell. I didn't really get the opportunity to put my foot in it, but the feeling was there.
I actually got to drive one of our 09 cobalt's at work to take a customer who just returned it to the small airport by my work (6 or 7 miles round trip), and I will say this... Yes, they are zippy, the power is there... it takes a sec though, you fall l lil behind but then it GOES, and you grab ground and close distance in a second... I like it cause I have made other think that they will win, but then one sec later they look back and I aint there, Im already in front of them

but my Lil 'Bolt - She's got more under her pedal still. The one I drove was a 09 Cobalt Sport - which is the same as an LT - which is what my 06 is...
