ok so im going to be putting in some hid lights and i dont think ill have a problem getting the passenger side light out but how about the driver side?? i noticed there is no room wat so ever... how did some of you guys do it?

 

I don't have HID's but I did change out my bulbs. The easiest thing way to get to the drivers side housing is to take it off. It's not hard, 3 bolts if memory serves me. the it just comes strait out of the front.

 

ya thats wut i planned on doing... but after you unscrew those 3 bolts u have to unclip this thing in the back of the headlight and then it will slide out... only problem is the fuse box is right smack dab in the middle of your worksapce... lol

 

Once you pull the headlight out some, you will be able to get you hand around behind it to turn the plastic lock ring counter clockwise to unlock the bulb from the housing.

 

I just went under the truck and did mine. Didnt take me 5 mins to do.

 

or just pulled hard. i have the same clip on my 06 i think. i just pulled hard and it should pop right out
