I have an 04 with a 5.7 and did catback originally. It wasnt hard for the shop to do and I had mine cut right before the resonator. It was all welding up as I wouldnt have it any other way. Its sounds much better than the stock exhaust because I added a SIDO Flowmaster Delta 40 but since then I have also added in an electric cutout in front of the muffler and LOVE it.

 

lol thats awesome my buddy has the cutout on his 5.9 jeeps with the butterfly valve and it sounds like a beast haha
