My truck goes in the first week of April to get a new steering rack. Both seals are blown and leaking bad. Only 50k on the clock and I'm replacing the steering system? WTF???

After researching, I guess I'm not the only one with this problem.

I'm guessing the next thing will be the rear diff.

After reading one horror story one here after another, I'm jumping ship.

BTW: This Hemi tick that people are just "living with". Turns out to be valve clearence issues. This is why running a synthetic oil covers up the real issue. A friend of mine has an '03 Hemi with 72k on it. He is currently fighting Chrysler to help cover the cost of a new motor since his dropped a valve. With only 72,000 miles!!! You can research this one too, it isn't an isolated case.

Guys we shouldn't buy new trucks and have to replace MAJOR components with less than 100k miles on them. Dodge has a stylish, powerful truck, but the reliability record these last few years is horrendus!!!!

I'm not sure who F'd who in the Diamler-Chrysler agreement. But something went WAY off course.
