I'm not sure if the 08s do it or not but on my 05 you turn the ignition on(don't crank just on) off, on, off and on and the codes appear in the odometer window.

turn the key on and check the fuel pressure checker thing on the fuel line..
if it squirts your fuel pump is good

ugghhh i can never remember what its called (the technical term)
it looks like a valve stem on a tire, and has a cap on it just like a valve stem, its threaded so you can check your fuel pressure at the rail with a fuel pressure gauge, im not sure where theyre at on the hemi or 4.7 but every vehicle ive ever looked at had one somewhere on the fuel rail on the engine..

just take the cap off, and use a screwdriver or ball point pen, (somthing small enough to press down on the check valve) if the key is on the fuel pump will pressurize the fuel lines, so fuel will squirt out when its pressed.

does the engine crank over and will not start or does it act dead and not crank over??
i must have missed a previous post somewhere
