superchip in 2004 dodge ram 1500 507 hemi

I just bought this truck. The guy put the chip in but now the engine light is on. Does anyone know if there are any updates for the 3815 FLASHPAQ tuner to turn the engine loght off. Thanks

You should be able to read the codes using the 3815 to see what is causing the code.

go to the super chips site and hook your tuner up to the computer. It will install the latest updates for you. Its very simple, the instructions are on thier website...

I used to have a SC 3815 that threw a code in my 04 truck (this was last summer), so I got rid of it. After SC did all the updates and such, I bought another one (used), updated, put it on, no code. the update might work for you too.
