Default anyone try this with hid problem??

To start off i tried the search on here but didn't find anything regarding these other questions i have.

So I heard that installing a 470UF 35V capacitor with the relay will stop the flickering problem caused by the DRL's. Just wondering if anyone tried this?

or

if you tie in a 50w resistor in will this work?

Any thoughts on these?

Also I just order the single beam 50w HID kit instead of the regular 35w HID kit, will I need to do any of the things mentioned about or will the lights work properly as they are already 50w, or will the DRL's still cause problems for the ballast. Does anyone have the 50w HID kit and can you tell a difference, they say it's suppose to be 50% brighter then the 35w.

thanks guys and gals.

i havent tried that but i read a thread a while ago about somethin like that. im no electrician so im really skeptical at cutting into wires and rewiring in things... i no for sure ill find a way to mess it up and create a big problem despite how easy some guys say how easy it is. lol ive tried the relay and that didnt work n now im waiting for the warning code eliminator so we'll c how that goes.

Yeah i tried that warning code eliminator and it didn't work for me and the place i bought it from let me return it so i didnt really waste any money there. I guess i'll wait until my 50w hid's come in then i can experiment those options on my 35w and hopefully help out other with the same problem. like you said im no electrical and probably mess everything up, thats proabbly what i'll do to.
