Default Need some help!!!

Looking to put a lift on my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab. I found the lift that i want( Skyjacker 6 in. system) but i am unclear if the rims i need will fit. They say i need a 17 x 9 by 5 inch back space to clear 37 x 12.5 x 17. Will a 17 inch rim even fit on the 2005 Ram. Mine came with the stock 20" rims. So i have no clue if I have over sized brakes. Any help would be greatly helpful. Tring to get this done when I return from Iraq.

17s will fit with no problem and will be a lot better for off road use than the 20's, not to mention the tires will be a HELL of a lot cheaper in 37x12.5x17 than 37x12.5x20...

As mentioned, 17's will fit no problem. And yes, tires will be cheaper.

And I'm assuming you have a Quad Cab?

Oh yeah!!! That would be a no brainer! And if you plan to off-road and put any real torque on that front end, learn to swap a CV axle and carry a spare!!!
