How hard is it to work with the vinyl? Can someone who has never used it before (me) work with it without messing it up?

you did a real professional job there, everything fits in properly
just wondering, how hard is it to take vinyl off?
i wonder if you could use the vinyl to make eyelids, that would look nice
Painting would be more easy but more costly! The vinyl is easy to come off just scrape it off but its still tough but not bad cause i did mess up on a few at first. my next thing to do is to make a eyelid I'm getting some tomorrow to try it and ill post up to show and let you know if it will work. The hard part is going to be the curve if you don't cut it.

That was actually my first time to use vinyl. Its like non ripping wrapping paper that you wrap presents with. Its not to hard to use and it dose not bubble up near like a decal or sticker would. I thought it was easy to use. I did one wheel and messed up but after that i had the hang of it. Its not bad though.

i used some for my sun visor strip across my windshield. if you use the wet application method, its a lot easier because you can move it around before it sets. i just used the regular method and let me tell you, its a pain to watch out for those air bubbles when you put it down. i had to repeal it a dozen times to fix those bubbles and i still didnt get all of them. its probably because of the curvature of the windshield that made it so difficult

Well I think I will try some vinyl on my tails. What is the worst that can happen, I have to peel it off?

If I had a non red truck I would do mine! They shine out to because I thought about covering my reverse light but didn't.

best thing about vinyl is that there is no permanent side effects unlike paint
how much does that vinyl run for taillights? itll probably be cheaper and easier to paint them on my truck because the 07-08 taillights have so much curves
i think VHT nite shades is like $15 a can and it might take 2 at the most

I was looking on eBay at some kits that jusjay727 posted up in another thread and the company sells a 12x24 sheet for $9. I figure that should be enough for two tails, so for that price it is worth a try.

I pay $3 a square foot for any color tint or any type of vinyl!
