You just need to rent or borrow a press (it looks like a c-clamp). Other than that, I'd have the balance checked again on the tires, since that's when the problem started.

Also, it sounds like your dealer is not very good at diagnosing problems, and is going on the "well let's try this and see if it fixes it" approach. As you've seen, that can get very expensive for you, and doesn't solve the problem. On top of that, it sounds like they are fixing parts on your truck that are perfectly fine. You might want to try another dealer or start developing a good relationship with a local repair shop.
The Vibration started before the new tires.
All the front end parts was done under warranty and the water pump under warranty but the fan clutch was not.

have em take a look at the racks too if they already havent been swapped out. the racks in the 03, 04, 05 trucks tend to be garbage. ive had both of mine replaced and my vibrations went away. other then that, id have to agree about the driveshaft issue. good luck!

I spoke to a drive shaft shop today and they told me when Dodge went from Dana to American drive shaft company that is when Dodge drive shafts became JUNK. He thinks my U-Joints and my shaft is bad. He said if I have a drive train warranty Go back to Dodge and have them look at it. Because if he looks at it he will charge me $97.00 to look at the joint and check it for Balance.

So whats up with the drive shafts?

AFAIK, the drive shafts in the 4x4 are still steel, while the 4x2 are aluminum, and I've heard the aluminum ones tend to be weaker.

My 1999 ram 1500 had a aluminum driv shaft and never had any problem with it in 9 years. Must have been a Dana shaft.

I'm getting a little bit of roaring noise myself around 40-50 mph.(2005 4x2 60k miles) I just put new tires on as well. While I'm at 45 mph I hear it, then I shift into neutral and it goes away, so I'm thinking its somewhere in the drive train. Do you guys think it’s my ujoints? If so, who do you guys recommend to get my parts from OEM?

Did you have a wheel alignment?

the guy with the roaring, did you check if your fan clutch is seized?

I will inspect the fan clutch tomorrow, but it sounds like it's coming from the middle-towards the rear of the vehicle.
