Default Oil leak

I found an oil leak on my truck. It is the seal between the bottom pan and the main engine block. It is leaking right near the bottom flywheel. What is that seal called? I called the dealer and the truck still under a power train warranty for another year.

What else should I check over before I bring it in? What else is a common problem that I might have that could be covered?

The oil pan gasket may also be called a "windage tray".

I'd have them change the oil in the differential to check to see if anything broke (or get it changed elsewhere and bring them any extra parts you find).

I'm not sure if you can get a "warranty" inspection or not but if you pay for a service (oil change, etc.) they are supposed to look over the vehicle and let you know what they come up with. Hopefully it will all be under warranty.
