DIY HEMI Dual exhaust?
Sorry if there is already a thread on here that describes this but...
I was wondering if there has been anyone else out there that has put on their own dual exhaust for a 5.7L Hemi (2004 Ram 1500) and had it successfully work.
I have no experience with installing exhaust systems besides clipping them off (ooooold trucks haha) but if I want to use the stock Cats and a different muffler, what else would I need? What kind of piping is suitable? I want a really durable exhaust.
Does the sound of the muffler change if you have a true dual system in it? like if I went right off the headers and had two individual pipes coming to the back, would the muffler sound less powerful because of that?
Again, I apologize if there is a similar thread on here (if there is please share it!) but I just wanted to hear some fresh ideas and experiences you all have on this.
I appreciate any help or advice!
Good-day!
