isn't it? it would be cheaper for me to buy this than to make my truck faster than this...i think so anyways. who knows what you spent on your truck so far...

and in my opinion trucks are built not bought. Why spend money on something that's already been done you know what i mean? u get more respect for vehicles u put the time into i got over 200 hours into my truck now and every time i pop the hood / show it off everybody props me, which makes it alllll worth it because i know what i took to get it where it is.

yea...work is appreciated for sure. if i go to a track with $1500 put into my truck, and it runs a 15.8...where's the respect in that.
i wanna do a swap too. a 360 will fit under our hood...but then i'd not be able to pass emissions laws here in illinois...which in turns gets my license suspended. but yea, a crate engine would bolt in for under $10,000. which is a lot, but not bad.

but...you could have been 75% of the way there already....i'm not even embellishing...u siad u spent 5g's in the other thread. u could have bought a crate motor for that...then you're left with labor, which u may or may not be able to do. i sure as hell wouldn't. well, i guess u need the computer/harnesses/tranny. but still...that leave your 5k already spent being able to acquire half of what u need minus labor.
