Offset is the distance the mounting pad of the wheel is moved away from the centerline of the wheel. Positive offset means the mouting pad is moved toward the outside of the wheel and negative offset means that the mounting pad is moved toward the inside (back) of the wheel. The number is just the measurement of how far from the center line of the wheel the mounting pad is moved.

Hey, and no need to apologize. The only way to learn is to ask. I actually think I have a diagram off all these measurements on my computer somewhere. Let me see if I can find it bc a pic makes all the measurements much clearer.

dammm teach i gotta buy you a beer your awesome but i think 3/4 of a inch different you will never tell the diff from stock.
and bullet the more i see the rims you want the more i like them and the offset is better lol hmmmmmm

Nah, 3/4 of an inch isn't noticable unless you are looking for it. Your effective offset will be 4.25 with the new rims when you factor in the spacers. Based on that you at most may have a slight rub at full turn over a bump or something like that, but not really any major fitment issues.

and whay does all my post get up in the 5-10 page range lol

and one last one for ya teach the rims that bullet likes would those specs be closer to stock than the one im lookin at cause if so im steallin them from bullet lol

ok so im in the same boat with the spacers. i will need them for sure right? im about to order them? how far will they stick out?
