these are not spacers they are adapters and they are hub centric i have ran them for years without a bit of problems.
the bad storys you hear are from guys that use "spacers" and have spacer plates thet limit how much bolt they have. these have new bolts the correct size completly safe i even off road with mine never a problem

Ok, with those tires, you can get away with a 1" spacer. That size spacer should put the outside edge of the new rims right where you current stockers sit.

Good point. These are different than spacer plates. When we first started this talk tonight I thought you guys were talking about the spacer plates, that is why I was wondering where you were finding such thick spacers and how you were bolting up the rims.

do you have the link for both colors?

i think black would look better since you really dont have anything chrome right now to match with

Hey man, if you want to do it, then more power to you. My family has been one of Ohio's largest tire/wheel distributors for going on 30 years, so I'm not basing this off stories. The only difference between a spacer and an adapter it that an adapter can change bolt pattern. Both will still widen your wheel base which is the problem. Your wheel bearing was designed to be close to the axle, not pushed out. Besides being illegal in most states for causing numerous accidents, you also put a great deal of stress on your bolts and lugs. After having wheels snap from the axles in the past, we won't even touch a vehicle that has, or has signs of having had spacers/adapters. To say any spacer/adapter is completely safe is like saying it's safe to mount a wheel with only one lug.

I'll be putting mine on in about a month. They're brand new 2007-2008 5 spokes i had custom powder coated flat black with a red lip. Still unsure of which tire I'm going to wrap them in.
