Question

Are there any access holes in the drivers side firewall to run the power wire through from the bat...?

usually, the best thing to do is to look for any wires that might lead into the cab and you might be able to squeeze your wires into their hole

i guess just to be safe, get 5.25s then and you probably wont have to resize the opening. but if you can do it, you could get fit the 6.5s with a little modication and they will sound better

Question

Well got all my parts ready for tommorrow's install job except for the rear speakers I am picking up next week when they are on sale. I had to wash and wax and pickup all my tools today so didn't have much time.
Do have one question, when I run my wires along the door seals how do you remove the plastic ?

Power wires and remote wires down one side of the truck and speaker and RCA wires down the opposite side.

All of that plastic you are asking about simply pulls up and out.
