My 2002 Ram 1500 has 9007QL headlights and 9006LL fog lights.
(I have no idea what the QL or LL letters mean)

Is there a cross reference chart around that would tell me what "H" bulb is a direct replacement for the 9007? There are H8, H9 H11 and H13 bulbs out there. Which "H" bulb would I use for the headlight and which "H" bulb would fit my fog lights?

Any education wouold be apprecaited

 

LL stands for long lasting. Oem replacements would just be 9007LL.

 

seems to me the local parts store would have all that info. The Advance Auto near me has a book out by all the bulbs and such with all that info in it.

 

H bulbs will not work in a 9007 or 9006 headlamp. LL is Long Life. Maybe the Q is a 90* bend where as some are straight sockets??? You wouldn't benefit anyways from going to an H series. They have diff plug ends on them just so you know and different headlight fittings as well.
