It's 45 this morning and now no heat. I'm thinking it must be the blend door or the actuator. I don't know. I hate this sht!

I don't know. I had the air running yesterday and it seemed to be skipping out, blowing cold then cool sparaticaly. I turned it up a notch and it blew heat. If I turn it off and then on, you can feel that it starts to blow cool (outside temp) and immediately goes hot. The clutch is working.

Is your AC compressor fan running?
The fan on the small radiator on the drivers side of the truck should be running strongly at all times, when the AC is switched on.
Sometimes the fans go intermittent and the ac starts to blow warm. Especailly when the truck is stationary.
When the trucks in motion, there is sufficient wind/air to cool the ac radiator without the ac fan running.
Just a guess, but this might be your problem?
Hope this helps?
Al.

I went out and checked the clutch yesterday. Everything was fine. Cool air. AC on and cold air. Turned it up high, still working fine. Got in it later when I left work and got on the road and it went hot. This is driving me nuts. I have absolutely no idea what to do. I don't know crap about it.

When it starts to blow hot, get out of the truck asap with the fault still happening and with it still safely running in park with the AC still on.
Pop the hood and make sure your AC fan is running on the AC condenser radiato,r not the AC clutch.
These fans are known to go squirrley.
When the brushes wear out on the commutaator, this causes intermittent running of the fan and also there's very little torque/power behind it to push the air forcefully over the radiator.
Post up what you find.
Al.

I don't know where that fan is. It's blowing the temp in the engine compartment. If it's blowing correct and starts blowing hotter, I've noticed it happens when I hit a bump or something.
