Default CAI Tube for 08 4.7 (YES, I've used the search function...)

OK, here's the deal. I've already got a K&N drop in filter in the stock air box. I'd like to sh!tcan the intake hat & replace it with an intake tube. I've searched around here and on a few sales sites, but I haven't been able to find a drop in replacement for the 4.7L like those available for the Hemi.

Are the dimensions from the throttle body to the air box the same for the Hemi trucks as they are for the 4.7L versions?

Any suggestions as to what brand, or what construction material would be best? Metal vs. plastic?

Are there any other changes I will need to make for this to work correctly?

I've seen complete homemade CAIs that eliminate the stock airbox, but has anyone made a homemade tube from the throttle body to the stock airbox? If so, a parts list & instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if anyone has a used tube they're willing to sell, let me know, as I'm very interested.

Yup, that's what I'm looking for... I can see how this day is going to pan out already :-)

I swear I looked around his site for near a half hour & couldn't find a page that clearly showing what I was looking for. Everything was always showing full kits & such.

Thank you
