I think it depends a lot on what he plans on doing with his truck too. If he is planning just basic bolt on, then the SC will meet his needs. But I do agree that the DSP is more versatile and adds more flexability to the end user than is offered by the SC.

 

If you're buying new get a diablosport predator, if you're buying used get a superchips tuner. I say that because new they cost about the same but the predator has far more user options and allows custom tunes...used a SC can be had for low 200's so the money saved makes it worth it IMO.

 

again..personal preference but i love my edge. good gains but mainly the dash pod is sick

You guys know if the Edge will work for the 08? My buddy has an 08 Cummins but the website doesn't have an option for an 08 Hemi.

 

Customer service wise, SuperChips is 2nd to none. They even keep an eye on our forums and keep us in the loop as to what they are working on.

Hypertech is actually about a mile from my house, but I will never buy another product from them again, as their service is terrible.

Diablo has the most options, and I haven't yet had the privilege of using one, but I think it is worth the expense from what I have read.

My superchips is easy to use, and I am impressed with the improvements to my truck.
Just my opnion...take it for what its worth, which apparently most people say is $.02.

 

i have basic bolt ons and this will finish my performance upgrades once i buy it. i use the truck daily so i need somthing reliable. as far as the predator i read about it ant you can really F*** up your truck if you dont know what your doing with some of the options(just my opinion)

 

Lucky 07 guys. Are they ever going to expand the Edge beyond 07's?

 

Well yea if you just randomly add a crap load of timing and pull fuel for whatever reason...but if someone is that retarded they shouldn't be behind the wheel anyway. All it takes is a little research on how the tool works and some basic understanding of engines....oh and common sense
