Why in the world would you buy a brand new Dodge truck, all beautiful and clean without dents and scratches, and then take it off-road for. You must be crazy, go buy an old jeep and do some real off-roading.
I bought my single cab HEMI for function and performance... and a 2 wheel drive HEMI will always be faster and get a little better gas mileage than a 4x4.

2WD , LSD, 3.92 rearend.
I don't get into any really difficult offroad situations where a 4x4 would benefit me. Where I live in NC, if it snows I can usually weight the truck down and it will go fine. If I still lived in PA, a 4x4 would be the way to go.

I voted 2500 QC but I agree none of the above 2wd sucks. I also would have chosen a diesel if it had been an option but doesn't look like you want a diesel or 4x4. I prefer to have the 4x4 so I have less chance of getting stuck. I have a 2wd and a 4wd truck and don't know that I would buy a 2wd again.
