RE: Sirius Satellite Radio
I would use the unused space there next to the right of the a/c controls and below that vent... but I am a 20+ year in the biz stereo installer and I would find a way, I looked into utilizing the screw found by the "purse-holder" thing just under that for mine until I decided to put the tv screen in mine and figured I didnt like using the pocket for anything after I found that everytime I floored it, whatever was in the pockect ended up on the floor anyway.

The only thing to installation is the antenna mounting. Every thing else is plug and play, uses existing wiring harness.

RE: Sirius Satellite Radio
I actually mounted my XM to the right of the AC and below the vent. It was the only flat space available that the car kit could mount to. I wanted to get the head unit but really did not want to mess up the stock look.
As far as mounting the antenna walk in the park. Went ahead and ran the antenna from the front of the roof through the windshield channels and then used silicon every so often to keep it in place.
Pushed all the extra wire behind the glovebox and you are set.
Really really simple and love it. I just use the FM modulator tuned to like channel 107.3 and it works fine. I came from a softtop Jeep so even being able to hear the radio is nice.

It seems like the slickest unit is the Mopar add on. Check this site...http://www.discountmopar.com/dodge/c...y.asp?catid=75 . Like GM says, it mounts under the seat and uses the existing radio (at least it does on mine, the Infinity w/CD and cassette) for the display so you don't have to jack around with where to mount the separate display that always sticks out like a sore thumb. I won't work with XM, though...only Sirius.

RE: Sirius Satellite Radio
I bought the Sirius satellite radio accessory for from an on-line Dodge parts retailer and installed it myself in my '04 Laramie Ram. The satellite receiver unit mounts with a bracket that comes in the installation kit and goes up under the dash above the drivers-side kickpad. (It doesn't mount under the seat.) There is a wiring harness that connects the satellite receiver to the factory radio receiver. Once installed, the only visible sign that you have satellite radio is the roof-mount antenna.
As far as function, it works great! I hardly ever listen to FM anymore.
