Default Transformer grill guard and body lift?

Is it possible to mount this transformer grill on a truck with a body lift?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-W...Q5fAccessories

I am also going to buy a winch to go with it later. WIll I be able to mount that too? Or do I need to fab my own crap up? Thanks in advance.

if you have a body lift, and that grille bolts to the frame, i would think it would sit lower on the body than its supposed to, and probably look pretty goofy, unless you fab your own stuff up.

unless its a little body lift maybe it wouldnt be soo bad

Hammer has the Warn brush guard and his warn winch bolts up to it. It shouldn't be affected by a body life except for looking a little low on the truck.

Yes the winch will bolt to the transformer once you add the winch carrier to it. And you can put a transformer on with your body lift but it needs to be bolted directly to the frame. The brackets to raise your bumper are not strong enough to handle the force of a winch.(I'm assuming you have raised the bumper to the same height as the body.) That means your bumper and grille guard will be at the height of the frame while your body sits 2" higher.

Damn. Thats all what I was hoping not to hear. If I made brackets out of 1/2 steel, do you guys think it will be strong enough?

1/2 steel should be plenty as the OEM brackets are only 1/4 or 3/8. Ive got a SS Warn Trans4mer and winch carrier and that price on Ebay is very good. Anything by Warn is expensive

Here are some pics of mine
