09 hood on a 3rd gen RAM?

09 hood on a 3rd gen RAM?

So I got to thinking... would an 09 Dodge Ram hood fit on an 07? The 09s have a slightly larger cowl than the 3rd generations do. I would of course want to use the 3rd gen grill. Anyone know if this would fit?

there is no way, the grilles are so much different, front fenders are a totally different angle. I would love to get one if they did match, but I just cannot see it working?
