Yea so took the truck in for the one thing i can't do myself.. state inspection. I had just detailed my truck two days before. I get in it and the tech didn't bother to watch where he put his feet and the plastic panels on the door sill are covered in black gunk and it isn't coming off.... If i can't get it off myself i'm taking it back to them but I just don't feel like dealing with them anymore I'll just take the truck somewhere else from now on but any recommendations....

 

Try a Magic Eraser. You can get them from Wal-mart. My wife uses them around the house and I have started to use them for this exact reason.

 

WD-40 works to!

 

try a hand cleaner, fast orange or something. that stuff will rinse off

 

went at it with some hand cleaner and an old toothbrush.. it took a hellish lotta work but I got it out. thank god.
