Unhappy 06 Dash in an 04

Hi Guys, well my truck was broken into last night, had everything stolen and my center dash piece completely destroyed. Well I was wondering if I could possible put the newer style dash without modifying anything? Thanks in advance for all your help.

It would require a serious amount of modification.

WHat are you trying to put back in the dash HU wise? The center peice from an 04 to an 06 is way different. But you can make the 04 center peice a double DIN like I did mine or buy an 04 (02-05) peice off ebay. But thats IF that is what you are trying to do. Sry to hear about your truck. Did you not have an alarm?

Aren't the interior dimensions the same 02-08? They just changed the design? You could buy the ENTIRE dash but it would be super expensive for everything.

You really can't do that. There is way more going on underneath the dash then you are imagining. The "subframe" is completely different. It would be a monumental undertaking to actually pull it off.

I still havent seen any mention of an alarm. I will never install anything before the alarm. Not even a HU.
