Default 2008 Dodge Ram - Questions

Howdy Boys

I recently bought a 2008 dodge ram 1500 quad cab. I immediate got a K & N air intake for it. I’ve still got the stock muffler and exhaust. I’m looking to upgrade, want my truck loader. Any suggestions and makes of models of different exhaust/mufflers. Should I get headers. Let me hear your suggestions.

Thanks

here's a clip of my magnaflow catback
You'll want to get a tuner to disable the mds once you get a catback and remove your resonators. if not, mds sounds like a helicopter when it's on. Very annoying and it creates cabin pressure on my ears. Maybe I'm more sensitive than othersw, but it bothered me enough to spend $360 just to turn it off....lol

If I were doing my exhaust all over, I would get a cutout and leave the stock muffler in place. Loud when you want, stealth when you want.

Also, you'll get more out of replacing the factory y pipe then the muffler. The factory y is an atrocity that should be brought up on charges! Look how they crushed the two pipes together to make the y. Then look at the after market y.

Rubberfrog - what brand y-pipe are you using? I am looking to upgrade my 07 Hemi exhaust and would really like to do away with that afterthought of a factory y-pipe.
