quick dash removal help

Default quick dash removal help

is there any way to release the dash enough to put my A pillars in with out having to slide them in, no matter how much i clear coat them i still get some scratching on them, that or how do i take off the front dash panel closest to the back of the truck(not the part that touches the windshield)

You can pull the top part of the dash out by gently prying up on it in certain locations. As for the part of the dash that is over the instrument cluster.......well......you dont wanna try to take it all apart, really.

is there anyway to just kinda loosen that front part over the instruments without alot of time, i basically need enough room to slide my pillars in without them having to be jammed in

everything is pretty solid in the dash for 02-05 trucks.. your gonna have to take most of it apart... i love tho in an 06-08 how almost the whole dash *apart from the instrument panel* just pops right off without any screws.. its all basically snap on stuff.. your just gonna have to take some time and take it apart..

i guess ill try and be gentle with it this time and see if i can do it without having to remove it otherwords i guess ill find a good weekend to do that, thanks for the help and input
